Crop Top Collective was started in 2025 by Mac, Meg, Henry, and Erin. We are four friends who, after many years of farming for other people, started this project partly to grow food for ourselves and our community and partly to rediscover the fun in farming and create community around growing food. We are a worker owned and operated cooperative growing herbicide-free, pesticide-free vegetables on one acre of land in the Nisqually valley. This season we prioritized growing storage crops; winter squash, winter radishes, shallots and onions, and fall/winter greens; kale, cabbage and collards. As a collective we strive to be a part of a radical regional food system alternative to failing industrial systems by prioritizing worker health, environmental health, and community resilience.
